This Privacy Policy explains how Traitiva collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website, assessments, reports, checkout flow, account tools, emails, and support channels.

Scale Brain LLC controls the information practices described in this policy for the Traitiva service.

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect your name, email address, contact message, assessment responses, generated results, purchase details, subscription status, support history, privacy requests, and any consent choices you submit.

If you create or recover an account, we may also store password hashes, password reset links, login handoff records, and related account security data.

We automatically collect technical and usage information needed to keep the service working. This can include session identifiers, browser or device details, referrer and landing page data, anonymous identifiers, source and campaign details, timestamps, and records showing how you reached or reopened the site.

We may also keep cookie, local storage, email delivery, and analytics records connected to your browser session or signed-in account.

We use personal information to run the assessment, save progress, generate assessment and paid report experiences, process payments, restore purchased access, send transactional emails, answer support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

We also use limited data to understand product performance, measure conversions, investigate service problems, and improve content, pricing, and user experience.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we generally process information because it is needed to perform our contract with you, because you consented, because we have legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or because the law requires it.

If we rely on consent for a specific activity, you can withdraw that consent going forward without affecting past processing that was already lawful.

We share information with service providers that help us operate Traitiva. That can include payment processors such as Stripe, transactional email providers such as Mailgun, analytics providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, security tools, and professional advisers.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when we need to enforce our terms or protect the service, or when a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale requires the business to transfer operational records.

We do not run Traitiva as a data broker, and the core Traitiva product does not sell assessment answers or account credentials for monetary consideration.

Necessary cookies and similar storage stay on because they keep the assessment, account recovery, checkout return path, and saved access working. Without them, progress and purchased access may not reopen correctly.

We keep analytics and marketing consent separate from necessary storage. If you use the cookie banner, you can choose necessary-only or allow analytics.

Optional analytics stays off until you allow it. You can change the choice later through the banner, browser settings, or device controls.

Traitiva may process information in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

Where law requires extra transfer safeguards, we rely on contractual, technical, and organizational protections that are intended to provide a comparable level of protection.

We keep information only as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, reopen purchased access, support subscriptions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, and meet accounting, tax, or legal obligations.

If you use the self-service delete flow, we remove the records that Traitiva can still match to this browser container or your signed-in account. Some information may still remain for a limited time in backups, payment processor systems, or other third-party systems that follow their own retention schedules.

You can use the privacy controls connected to your current browser container or signed-in account to export or delete data that Traitiva can still match there. A browser container is not proof of legal identity, so broader requests may require email or account verification through the Contact page.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for using applicable privacy rights.

Traitiva is not designed to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Residents of California and similar jurisdictions may ask us to know, access, delete, or correct qualifying personal information, subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Residents of the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, and similar regions may also have the right to complain to their local supervisory authority if they believe our privacy practices violate applicable law.

Traitiva is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from them.

If you believe a child gave us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this policy when Traitiva, our providers, or the law changes. The version posted here with the updated effective date will control from that date forward.
